GRADE ELEVEN EVENINGOn Wednesday, 25 July, the Grade Elevens, along with their parents and teachers, met in the hall for an evening of informative yet enjoyable speeches regarding their decisions made over the next year. We were given speeches by Ms Jordan, Mrs Harding and Mrs De Wet who gave us invaluable advice about various aspects of our work and the ways in which choices that we make now are likely to impact on our lives and careers. Completing the first part of the evening
there was an amusing attempt by Tricia Main - top achiever in Grade Twelve (June
examinations) and Head Girl in 2001 - and Lauren Reid to try and sell us their time
management program. All the speeches gave us a lot to think about as we move into the final eighteen months of our
schooling. Parents and students were then given the opportunity to speak with any of their daughters subject teachers. Tea, coffee and cakes were served in the new tuckshop, which was greatly admired by the parents. The whole evening was a very worthwhile and informative one for all the Grade Elevens and their parents as they move into their final year at Wynberg Girls' High.
