Breakfast with The Boys

These were not "the boys" written about in "On the Move" - one of the poems set for the Matrics in 2004 and studied by the Grade Elevens this year - but they are the movers and shakers of Wynberg Boys' High. On 30th October before school started, the newly-appointed School Council and Heads of Houses of Girls' High had breakfast with Wynberg Boy's leaders of 2004 at the clubhouse. 

The girls arrived with their muffins, scones, pancakes and fruit, only to find that the organized boys had already begun frying bacon and eggs on the skottel braai that they had brought along.

Once bacon and eggs were fried and eaten, an icebreaker was held, conducted by the Heads of School of the Girls’ School. This was followed by personal introductions and a lavish breakfast feast. When half an hour proved too short a time for every last crumb to be consumed, the boys ensured that no wastage would occur by packing up the left -overs to be enjoyed for lunch!

We'd like to thank them for joining us for this enjoyable breakfast!
