Tennis

Tennis at Wynberg is both competitive and enjoyable. We have many team players as we have eight teams and two Grade 8 teams. We also have a social tennis group on some afternoons for those who don’t like playing matches and like to take life as it comes.

Practices take place on the Cavan Road and school courts. Matches take place from Monday to Friday depending on the squad. The Grade 8 League play matches on Wednesday afternoons during the first term. Pupils wear the tennis skirt and white collared shirt. They provide their own balls for practices as well as matches. We enter the USSASA league and the Grils' School competition.

Wynberg is one of the top schools in the Western Cape and excels in tennis.
