Swimming Swimming training sessions are held twice a week in the school pool. Galas are run every Thursday. We enter the USSASSA schools league and the Girls’ School competition. Our swimming team consists of A and B teams. Swimming is held on Monday and Tuesday with galas on Thursdays. We are very fortunate to have a number of very competitive swimmers and a couple of our swimmers who have represented Western Province. We hope this year is exciting, as we have new swimmers joining the team, and as flourishing as last year. Team swimming is open to all pupils who want to swim for general fitness and not necessarily for the team. We also offer social swimming for those who want to do their own thing. This is also a very popular activity. Our swimmers wear black costumes and gold or yellow caps. |
