Information Systems and Object-orientated programming. I am also working for Clinique in
Edgars - they finally made me counter manager!! (I've been with Clinique as a casual since
December 2000.) My plans are to study full time next year, most probably at Cape Technikon
Samantha Fordred (2000) wrote in March 2003: I am currently working at a company called Bizassist and I am the web-designer for the company. I did a one year course at Dakota Computer Training and it took me over a year to find this job. I only started recently, but I am very happy so far. Now the real work starts, and it's really flowing in!! Her email address is samantha@bizassist.co.za Macdonald Michelle (2002) wrote in August 2003: After finishing my year at Montrose Business College in 2001, I made my way to London in the beginning of 2002. I am currently working for a Private Laboratory in London's exciting West End. Did not expect to find myself working in the Medical Profession! I have learnt an awful lot since working here and I'm enjoying it very much. Although I do find myself missing my sister, Lorraine, tremendously! She is finishing off her 3rd year at Cape Technicon as a Fashion Student and has been doing very well. I'm so proud of her. Write to her at micci_j@yahoo.com Martin Tarryn (2000) wrote to us
in April 2003: I am currently in third year at Rhodes University studying Botany and
Zoology as my majors. Funnily enough Katherine Bunney is also here and we are the only two
in our year with Bot and Zoo as our majors. At the end of 2001 I was involved in an EIA
(environmental impact assessment) on the proposed tollroad that is to be put between Port
Edward and Port St. Johns. I spent two weeks working with our Botany professor walking the
Transkei Coast collecting rare and endangered plants. This was so that we could advise
them where the road could be put with the least ecological damage. This was an absolutely
awsome experience as we wnet to places that few South Africans have been to and met local
people who had never been to Umtata let alone any other big cities. Other past pupils who have registered from these years at SAReunited include: Jessica Hesom, who matriculated in 2000, is currently in the United Kingdom |
