Wynberg Schools form a Peace Chain

Cape Talk Radio was quick off the mark, when they arrived at our school to interview pupils on their part in the the formation of a peace chain. On 7 March, the Wynberg Schools formed a peace chain with each other and Springfield Convent. At 12 o'clock the Convent bells rang out, and the schools observed a minute's silence to reflect on, to hope and pray for peace in South Africa.

On Cape Talk's newsbroadcasts later that day, our pupils were heard to say that they would need to show the country how to do it, if adults were unable to to lead the way.

In a more upbeat mood, the boys grabbed the opportunity to greet their mums, when they realised that they were on air!
