Once again comments were made on the
extraordinary range of styles and the depth of thought evident in the work. Tribute was
given to their teacher, Ms Carina Vosloo who has worked tirelessly with all of the
students individually: encouraging them, supporting and guiding them. Needless to say, she
gave all credit to her students and to the support which their parents had given to them
during this exceptionally demanding year. She also paid tribute to her colleague, Ms Wyn
Kierman, who had worked with the Standard Grade Painting students. There was little doubt that the journey that the 2002 matriculants had undergone with their teacher over the last three years could only have been difficult and demanding one, but that is was one which bore extraordinary fruit. It was a wonderful evening in which we were able to witness quite exceptional work. |
