PEER GUIDES

Our exciting year started off in the first term with training sessions on Monday afternoons. Since then we have attended workshops about substance abuse, divorce and domestic violence. We have also recently run a workshop with the Grade 7’s at Wynberg Girls’ Junior, in order to calm their fears about high school and give them a few tips on what to expect. We often interact with the peer guides from Wynberg Boys, sharing ideas on relevant topics. 

The third term marked the ushering in of a dynamic new group of 18 new peer guides. They have recently been handed their badges and certificates, and taken the pledge in a special assembly.
