The Xhosa Society This vibrant and dynamic society was initiated when it was suggested by the Xhosa Classes that such a society should be formed. Mrs Mpambo brings together pupils from different backgrounds and cultures to celebrate and learn about the Xhosa traditions. Bead making, poetry, song and dance are all aspects which are explored. But perhaps more importantly this is a society which has demonstrated a mutual respect and tolerance for each other and each other's cultures. The school delights in the concerts which are presented by this creative group. There are photographs and video clips from some of them and are well worth the wait in downloading. 2000 - Xhosa Concert and Quiz This year Nocamagu Mbulawa is president of the Xhosa Society committee and Raazia Slamdien is vice president. Other members of the committee are Ruwayda Saambo, Lesedi Mofokeng, Natyebokazi Jezile and Momaxabiso Tsotso
