Academic Wynberg Girls' High has a proud tradition of offering excellent education to the students and with the recent changes to the curriculum, staff have been working hard to generated stimulating and challenging resources. Curriculum 2005 was implemented in Grade Eight in 2002. This means that students will continue with the eight learning areas which they experienced when they were in Grade Seven. Included in the academic curriculum offered to pupils from Grades Ten to Twelve are the Arts, Languages, Commerce and the Sciences. As part of our enrichment programme, the school participates in a significant number of international examinations, (at junior and senior level) and national olympiads, competitions and eisteddfods. As part of our academic support programme, for those who are struggling with their academic work, we offer specialised clinics where tuition with professional teaching staff is offered or a peer tutoring programme, where senior students assist those who are struggling with aspects of the curriculum. | English | Art | A Levels | Science | History | Matric Results | Dance |
