National Women's Day

The Grade Nine, Ten and Eleven Art pupils were all involved in projects celebrating National Women's Day on 9 August. The Grade Nine Art pupils designed a poster in which they could explore women's rights and/or violations.

The Grade Tens designed a postcard which had to include an explanation of the particular aspect they wanted to hightlight about women's rights. The Grade Elevens explored the project in a wider context, investigating all aspects of womanhood.

They were required to present their ideas as a conceptual artwork, rather rather than a more literal interpretation. They also had to document the project in written form.
